Our website is down, but the news still breaks.

According to multiple reports, T.J. Otzelberger is out as the men’s head coach of the South Dakota State Jackrabbits.

It was fun while it lasted.

After two NCAA Tournament appearances in three years, Otzelberger will be headed to coach the University of Las Vegas Runnin’ Rebels, who fired Marvin Menzies March 15.

During Menzies’ three years as a head coach for UNLV, he compiled a 48-48 record.

Otzelberger, who compiled a 70-33 record in his third year, signed a five-year extension in December.

According to open.sd.gov, T.J. Otzelberger made $350,000 a year as the Jackrabbit head coach
