Mick gets no respect.

Hate Mick Jagger’s solo albums?

If your answer is yes, then you’re not alone. Keith Richards, the Rolling Stones guitarist and original rock ‘n’ roll bad guy, is on your side.

In a recent interview from the October 2002 issue of Guitar World, Richards commented on Mick’s latest solo release, Goddess in the Doorway, by referring to it as “Dog S**t in the Doorway.”

“Mick Jagger’s really good when he’s with the Rolling Stones. But when he ain’t, I don’t think anybody gives a f**kin’ toss,” Richards said.

Jagger and Richards are currently touring with the Rolling Stones in celebration of the group’s 40th anniversary. The Stones are also releasing a “best of” album with several new songs for the triumphant event.

Unlike the new acts previously mentioned, The Rubber City Rebels don’t try to rip off ’70s punk
