The City of Brookings is looking for volunteers to serve on its various city boards, committees and commissions.

Each of the following appointed governmental organizations has at least one position eligible for reappointment or new appointment on May 1, 2003:

Airport Board, one year, currently held by Robb Sexauer.

Human Rights Committee, one year, currently held by Tobias Uecker.

Brookings Committee for People who have Disabilities, one year, currently held by Victoria Riggs.

Park & Recreation Board five years, currently held by Erik Dahl.

Utility Board, five years, currently held by Charles Lamberton.

The positions on the Human Rights Committee and the Brookings Committee for People who have Disabilities are student positions.

Applications for these positions are available in the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 311 Third Avenue, or by calling (605) 692-6281. Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk no later than Friday, March 21, 2003.
