The Students’ Association approved budgets for Staters for State and Oakwood at their meeting Monday evening.

The Staters for State budget of $4,000 was unanimously approved. Staters for State Vice President Jane Tschetter said they will use the money for their annual Senior Appreciation Night, which is held in recognition of graduating seniors and also to introduce them to the alumni association. The budget is a $100 increase from last year’s budget.

Oakwood, an art and literary magazine, had a budget of $3,000 approved with the agreement that the magazine be free to all students. Editor Dani Johannesen said copies of the magazine can be picked up in the Graphic Design and English department offices.
