The famous phrase “Git-R-Done” has swept the country and is now coming to Sioux Falls.

Larry the Cable Guy will perform his stand-up act at the Sioux Falls Arena Thursday, Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Larry, born in Pawnee City, Neb., actually got his start with a dare to perform at a local comedy club. After wowing the audience with his presentation, he was hooked. He had previously worked as a bellhop at The Ramada and, of course, a cable guy, but quit to hit the road and start his career as a comedian. He eventually made his way onto “Evening at The Improv”, “Comic Strip Live”, Comedy Central, MTV and Showtime.

He exploded onto the radio scene a few years later and worked for one of the most highly rated Tampa morning shows, becoming well-known around Florida. About 35 stations currently play Larry’s “wacky, outrageous and topical commentaries” daily.

Larry became even more famous after his Blue Collar tour with fellow comedians Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Ron White. His energetic shows fill stadiums and clubs around the nation with original comments on religion, strip-clubs and, of course, rednecks.

Tickets to see Larry are available at the Arena Box Office, Ticketmaster locations, or by phone at 605-334-8181.
