Chris L. Jones pleaded guilty on Sept. 30 to three counts of second-degree rape and one count of kidnapping.

States Attorney Clyde Calhoon confirmed the judge accepted the plea.

The other charges, which include first-degree robbery and two more counts of rape, will be dropped.

The court ordered Jones undergo a psychosexual evaluation, and his sentencing is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Nov. 9.

Three women were raped, one of whom was kidnapped, between March 29 and April 21, ending with the arrest of Jones. Two of the incidents occurred on SDSU’s campus.

Jones originally confessed to the crimes after his arrest, according to police, but pleaded not guilty to all counts at a May 21 arraignment hearing.
