Art Museum kicks off holidays with sale, book signing and concert

The South Dakota Art Museum opens holiday festivities with activity from Friday, Nov. 19, through Sunday, Nov. 21, with its annual Holiday Store Sale.

On Sunday, Nov. 21, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., the Windy Jacks clarinet ensemble, directed by SDSU Assistant Professor of Clarinet Michael Walsh, will perform Christmas carols to give festive sound to the holiday sale weekend.

The Windy Jacks concert is free and open to the public inside the Art Museum Gallery.

The shop will be open throughout the weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Customers can enjoy coffee and cookies throughout the annual Holiday Store Sale.
