Ninety-one individuals and 12 teams competed in the fourth Annual “I’m Ready for Summer” Mini Triathalon on Sunday.

The triathalon consisted of a 500-yard swim (10 laps in the HPER pool), 12-mile bike ride and 3.1-mile run.

Top finishers in each division were Jason Crisp of Colman with a time of 1:03:44, Andrea Wvebker of Marshall, Minn., with a time of 1:15:44 and the Bahnsons of Hartford with a time of 1:06:11.

Among the competitors were Dean of Arts and Science Jerry Jorgensen and former governor Frank Farrar. The Army ROTC team finished fifth with a time of 1:13:11 in the team division.

Participants came from around the Midwest. The furthest coming from St. Louis.

Last year the triathalon, held the last Sunday of April every year, had only sixty-one participants. Coordinator Shari Landmark said that the increase of interest is a good sign for next year.
