The Summit League designated 18 “Food Fight” games during the basketball season and collected donations at the Summit League Championships with the nine league member institutions combining to raise over 84,000 pounds.

All donations went to the Sioux Falls Food Pantry. This is the first year that every school raised at least 1,400 pounds, including seven institutions that raised over 3,000 pounds of food.

In the program’s seven years, over 357,000 pounds of food has been collected for Summit League communities and their local food banks.
