On Wednesday, April 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., George Tsakiridis, a senior lecturer of philosophy and religion at SDSU, is hosting a presentation exploring the religious themes and imagery of the James Bond movies.
This event will be hosted in room 0100 of the Psychology, Sociology and Rural Studies building. Tsakiridis approaches the subject of religion and popular culture through James Bond, focusing specifically on the most recent film, No Time to Die.
Also joining Tsakiridis will be Dale Potts from the School of American and Global Studies, and David Palmer from the Ness School of Management and Economics. The two will talk about religious traditions of Quantum Solace and war theory in relation to the James Bond comic strips.
