South Dakota State volleyball will be hosting the University of Nebraska at First Bank and Trust Arena this fall in 2026.
The match, scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 2, will be the third all-time meeting between the Jackrabbits and the Cornhuskers. Nebraska won their last meeting in a 3-0 sweep in the first round of the 2007 NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship. SDSU’s only set win of the series was in their first meeting in 1975, as they lost 2-1.
The Jacks went undefeated in Summit League play in 2025 and finished 23-5 overall, losing in the first round of the championship against the University of Arizona. The Cornhuskers finished undefeated in Big Ten play, going 33-1 overall and advancing to the Regional Final of the championship, where they lost to eventual national champion Texas A&M University.
Tickets for this match, alongside all home matches, will be available on Jul. 7 and 8 for season ticket holders. Any remaining tickets will be available to the public on Jul. 14. The full 2026 volleyball schedule will be released later this spring on GoJacks.com.
