On Monday, the Minnesota Vikings announced their 10-man practice squad for the 2018-19 season, former Jackrabbit standout Jake Wieneke was not one of them.

Wieneke signed with the Vikings after going undrafted in the NFL Draft.

The Vikings did sign two receivers to the practice squad, Jeff Badet and Chad Beebe, which gave them a total of seven wide receivers on their roster.

Wieneke is the career leader in the Missouri Valley Football Conference with 288 career receptions, 59 touchdowns and 5,157 receiving yards.
