The South Dakota State volleyball team will play in its second straight NCAA Tournament when the No. 7 seed Jackrabbits match up with Arizona in the first round.
This will be the first time the Jackrabbits and Wildcats have played each other. They will play their first-round matchup on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Central time in Stanford, California. The winner will play the winner between No. 2 seed Stanford and Utah Valley, which will be played at 9 p.m. Central time on Friday.
SDSU was able to secure a spot in the bracket as an at-large bid following its Summit League Tournament championship match loss to St. Thomas last week.
The bracket, which was announced Sunday evening on ESPN, will feature two Summit League teams for the second year in a row and the third time ever. The Tommies will face No. 5 seed Iowa State at 4:30 p.m. Central time on Friday.
