ORIGINAL STORY (11:34 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26): South Dakota State University Police (UPD) are asking folks to be on the lookout for a “threatening individual.”
In an alert that was sent out to students and faculty, UPD asked those on campus to watch for a “male subject that could possibly be carrying a firearm.”
The alert describes the individual as a white male standing around 5-feet-8-inches with a slender build and shaggy brown hair. They also say the individual drives a 2020 Silver Ford Fusion with “a loud exhaust.”
UPD said the individual made threats toward someone living in an SDSU residential hall.
Authorities are asking that if you see anything suspicious, you contact UPD by calling (605) 688-5117.
