Former South Dakota State women’s basketball standout Paige Meyer has signed a professional contract to play overseas.
The two-time Summit League Tournament MVP will begin her professional career with the Essex Rebels, a team in the United Kingdom’s Super League Basketball.
Meyer played for SDSU from 2021-25, finishing her career with more than 1,400 points. Her 493 assists rank third in program history and are the most in the team’s Division I era.
The Rebels’ season begins Oct. 4.
