The SDSU Foundation’s celebration and reveal of the total amount raised in the “Bold & Blue” campaign happening tomorrow will be moved indoors due to expected weather.
In a message that was sent out via email by SDSU President Barry Dunn said the change was made because of high winds that are forecast for Thursday.
The following are changes that have been made because of this decision.
- The Johnny Holm band will now perform at 7:45 p.m. in the Oscar Larson Theatre. Seating will be limited to 850 people.
- Tickets will be distributed to everyone when entering the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.
- There will be an area with a livestream of the program, the concert and the reveal of the final amount.
The message also says that food trucks, buffet lines and beverage stations will open at 6:30 p.m. as originally planned with the announcement still scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
Dunn’s message said that despite the change, it will still be an incredible celebration befitting this historic campaign.
If you are not able to attend the event, a livestream is available to see the program in its entirety.
