Lainey Wilson, the country newcomer who was recently crowned Academy of Country Music’s “New Female Artist of the Year,” will be performing at The District in Sioux Falls April 1.

After appearing at some festivals this spring, Wilson will be opening for country music stars, Morgan Wallen and Jon Pardi starting in early June through early October. Most of the shows are outdoors.

Known for her award-winning, country radio number-one debut single “Things A Man Oughta Know,” Wilson will be making her first solo live performance in South Dakota.

Wilson previously opened for country music stars Justin Moore and Tracy Lawrence at the Salute 2 Frontline Workers concert in Sioux Falls last spring.

The 29-year-old singer released her critically acclaimed, major-label debut album, “Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’” last year. Following the success of the album, and single “Things A Man Oughta Know,” Wilson released a collaboration with country singer Cole Swindell titled “Never Say Never” which is currently top ten and climbing on country radio.

Wilson is vying for CMT’s “Digital First Performance of the Year” for the single “Things A Man Oughta Know” April 11.

Tickets for the Sioux Falls concert are $17.50 for general admission (floor), and $25.00 for early entry balcony which includes exclusive early entrance, private access to merchandise booth, balcony access and private balcony bar and restrooms.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 8:30 p.m. Don’t miss your opportunity to see country music’s newest star in an intimate setting!
