For the first time in the show’s 26-year history, ESPN’s College GameDay is coming to Brookings.

GameDay is a traveling roadshow featuring college football experts and personalities such as Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and Rece Davis. Each week, the show airs live from the city hosting a notable college football game.

This Saturday, Oct. 26, will be the most recent installment of the Dakota Marker rivalry game between No. 3 South Dakota State (6-1, 3-0 MVFC) and No. 1 North Dakota State (7-0, 3-0 MVFC). The winner will be in prime position to take the Missouri Valley Football Conference regular-season title.

SDSU will become the first Football Championship Subdivision team to host College GameDay since James Madison on Oct. 14, 2017. NDSU has hosted twice (2013 and 2014), winning on both occasions.

Per GoJacks.com, SDSU is the 73rd host school and Brookings is the 87th host city for GameDay.

The show airs live from 8-11 a.m. Saturday with the location to be announced later in the week.
