South Dakota State remembers Kalin Henn

Kalin Henn, a sophomore enrolled in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences majoring in Precision Agriculture, passed away early Saturday morning.

He passed away in Brookings Health System. He was from Elgin, Nebraska and transferred to SDSU this year from Central Community College in Nebraska.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 2,  at St. Bonaventure Church in Raeville, Nebraska, with Rev. Kevin Vogel and Deacon Dennis Wiehn officiating. Interment will follow at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Elgin, Nebraska.

Visitation will be 4-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, at the church, with a 7:30 p.m. wake service.

Henn enjoyed being outside. He liked snowboarding camping, boating, surfing, wakeboarding and hunting. Henn loved spending time with his nephew Brecken, his family, his many friends, and his dog “Dog.”  He also loved his visits with his grandparents.
