Thousands of screaming fans will flood the SDSU campus on Thursday, April 14 for the Jason Derulo concert at Frost Arena.

About 850 students already confirmed their attendance on the Facebook event page, with a total of 1,500 tickets sold already.

University Programming Council President, Mike Preszler said choosing Derulo for the spring show was an educated decision.

“We conducted a campus wide survey with over 600 unique respondents, and out of the 20 artists on the survey, Derulo was number one by an extensive amount of votes,” Preszler said. “Other artists that were on the survey turned out to be unavailable for this spring, making it difficult to find an artist that worked.”

Preszler said he thinks the show has potential to sell out. You can get tickets from Info Exchange in the Student Union or on www.tix.com. Tickets range in price from $5-$15 depending on the seating location. Floor seats are $15 and going fast, first section tickets are $10, and second level are $5.

If you use Foursquare, you can also “check in” to the special concert venue on your iPod or smartphone and be entered into a drawing for an autographed poster by Derulo.

All questions can be directed to UPC at 605-688-6173.
