SDSU to host diversity discussion
September 18, 2012
SDSU is hosting an open forum panel discussion on diversity — specifically regarding the recent Chick-fil-A debate — in The Market in The Union at 6 p.m. Sept. 20.
The invited panel is made up of students, faculty and administrators with a diversity of perspectives and points of view. The conversation will begin with the Chick-fil-A debate and will move toward a general discussion about inclusiveness on campus. The forum will last about an hour.
Organizers want the forum to foster a deeper discussion and dialogue on the topic. Audience members will be encouraged to ask questions and engage in the conversation.
The event is hosted by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Community and the Office of the Dean of Students.
