After four months of an offseason, the South Dakota State men’s golf team was back in action in St. George, Utah.

Out of 11 teams, South Dakota State finished at 10th place, shooting 611 over two rounds.

Despite the team not finding success, junior Jacob Otta had a great outing shooting a score of 143 and tied for eighth overall. Senior teammate Alejandro Perazzo, who played as an individual, also finished eighth overall.

The Jackrabbits competed against Northern Colorado, Middle Tennessee State, Utah State University, Southern Utah, Utah Valley, Stetson, Western Illinois, Fairleigh Dickinson, Weber State and Creighton

The Jacks next appearance is Feb. 22 in the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, California.
