Alpha Xi Delta wants students to “suit up” for its football frenzy (Football Frenxi) this Friday, Sept. 7.
This is a football flag tournament AXiD uses to raise money for Autism Speaks. Teams will have eight competitors and 20 minutes per game to play. The winning team gets individual prizes.
Each person on a team must pay $10 for registration. Registration forms are in Greek Life office in the Center for Student Engagement in The Union.
There will also be a raffle for a movie theater bucket. Tickets for the raffle are 25 cents.
Hot dogs and drinks are provided too.
“Alpha Xi Delta’s philanthropy is Autism Speaks, so we partner with them to help raise money for families affected by Autism,” said Brittany Tursam, external communications director for the SDSU Alpha Xi Delta chapter.
The event is 5-8 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Alpha Xi Delta house at 715 20th Ave.
