Three Jackrabbits sign NFL contracts

The 2020 NFL Draft closed late Saturday afternoon without a South Dakota State player hearing his name called, but it didn’t take long for three members of last year’s football roster to sign undrafted free agent contracts.

Linebacker Christian Rozeboom (Los Angeles Rams) and fullbacks Mikey Daniel (Atlanta Falcons) and Luke Sellers (Detroit Lions) have agreed to undrafted free agent (UDFA) deals, according to announcements made by the @GoJacksFB Twitter account.

Signing a UDFA contract reserves a spot on a franchise’s 90-man starting roster, but each player must survive a series of roster cuts to make the final 53-man roster announced shortly before the season begins in September.

No immediate information was available regarding the terms of each contract.
