The third annual ‘Warrior Week,’ began Nov. 4 on the South Dakota State campus.

According to its website, the goal is “Honoring and celebrating our veterans with events such as Hall of Heroes, Wellness 4 Warriors, game night and many more.”

The schedule of events of ‘Warrior Week’ can be found below.

Monday, Nov. 4

• 9 a.m-4 p.m. Hall of Heroes – University Student Union
• 9 a.m. – TAPS played 22 times for veteran suicide awareness – East side of the University Student Union

Tuesday, Nov. 5

• 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Hall of Heroes – University Student Union
• 1 p.m. Culture and Combat Panel – McFadden Biostress, room 103.
• 7 p.m. Movie Night – Cinema 8 Brookings.

    • Free ticket, popcorn and drink vouchers available to be picked up at the Office of Veterans Affairs

Wednesday, Nov. 6

• 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Hall of Heroes – University Student Union
• 2 p.m. ROTC Informational, Tour – Depuy Military Hall
• 6 p.m. Military Board Game Night – Wooden Legs Brewing Company

Thursday, Nov. 7 

• 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Hall of Heroes – University Student Union
• 3 p.m.-5 p.m Iron Warrior Powerlifting Competition – Wellness Center
• 5:30 p.m. Human Trafficking Symposium – Woster Celebration Hall, SDSU Foundation

Friday, Nov. 8 

• 12 p.m. – Marine Birthday and Luncheon – Veterans Affairs Office

Saturday, Nov. 9 

• 8 a.m. – Fancakes – Wooden Legs Brewing Company
• 2 p.m. Military Appreciation football game vs. Illinois State
  • Each veteran will receive two free tickets

Monday, Nov. 11

• 9:30 a.m. – Chamber of Commerce Veterans Day Program – Swiftel Center

Classes will not be held Monday, Nov. 11 at South Dakota State University, in recognization of Veterans Day.
