Matt Pearson and Jennifer Stovall earned All-American honors at the Division II Indoor Track and Field National Championships in Boston, Mass.
“I was pleased with all the athletes, especially Matt and Jennifer,” head coach Paul Danger said.
Pearson placed fifth in the mile run in 4:07.1 to earn All-American honors for the first time.
Stovall placed seventh in the 60 meter hurdles in 8.73 seconds. This was Stovall’s third All-American award.
Cori Vining, Jamie Keck and Erin Woolley all represented the Jackrabbits at nationals as well.
“We had a good representation from Keck in the triple jump, Vining in the 60 meter hurdles and Woolley in the mile run,” said Danger. “This was the first NCAA Indoor Championships for these three women, and I know the experience they received will be very beneficial in future competitions. I look forward to the outdoor championships when we will compete against the best in the country again.”
