Men, Women Golfers Take Fourth at SCSU Saturday, Sunday

Both the men’s and the women’s golf teams took fourth place at the St. Cloud State invitational this weekend.
The men’s team was lead by junior Mike Kuchta, who moved up to third place with a two-day total of 148.
Junior Matt Conlon took fifth at 153 and freshamn Steve Klock followed at 155.
SDSU’s men’s team finished fourth of five teams with a team total of 618.
St. Cloud State finished first after a tiebreaker with Mankato State. Both teams were at 600 strokes after 36 holes, and USD finished third at 615.
The men’s team will be at the UND Invitational at Grand Forks on Sunday and Monday.
The women’s team came in fourth with two top-10 individual finishes by sophomores Lindsey Brown and Kelly Evans.
Evans tied for fifth place with 163 and Brown tied for eighth place at 164.
The Jacks’ two-day team total of 684 came behind Mankato at 651 , who beat out Southwest Minnesota State in a tiebreaker, and St. Cloud State in third at 672.
The women’s team will compete at the Southwest Minnesota State University Invitational in Marshall, Minn. next weekend.
