In observance of Black History Month, comedian “Big” Sean Larkin will perform at the Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m.
“I talk about youth, growing up, differences between ‘now’ and ‘then’, living in Atlanta … I try to talk about things [students] can relate to,” Larkins said.
He said he will also talk about different things he notices on and around campus.
Larkins said he has to clean up his act somewhat when he comes to college campuses. He also said that every place is different, so he tries to adjust to each setting.
He has traveled across the U.S. with his comedy performances. He can be seen in Black Entertainment Television’s upcoming 2005 production of “Bad Boys of Comedy” with host Sean “P. Diddy” Combs.
He recently performed at a Civil Rights march in Alabama. Last year he took his act to Japan and Korea. This Valentine’s Day, Larkins traveled to the Bahamas to perform.
The performance is free to the public.
