Halo 2 is best thing that happened

This is in response to “You’d be lost without your mother, and your girlfriend is just a future replacement.”

In my own case, this is very true, but guess what … it was my choice.

My husband, Samuel, actually has some bad ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and refuses the meds that “help.” They make him creepy weird. Without them, he has the attention span of a hamster and acts somewhat older than our 3-year-old. I think he’s contagious, too (just kidding).

Our friend, Nathan, who has since moved to Nevada, introduced him to Halo 1. I swear, I was kinda the same way as this girl. I never saw him, and had no idea what he was talking about! Here’s the difference between me and Miss Give Me All Your Attention. I decided to be the mature one and see just why those boys like the game so much. So here I am. Even more of a fanatic than he is.

If she wants to talk about mothers in training, she should listen to her mom: “You won’t know if you don’t like it, until you try.”

My husband and I have been married now for almost three years, and we love playing Halo 2 together. I am also a member of the Cavegirls on Bungie.net who recently played and beat the Bungie employees. Almost all the girls in the Cavegirls are happily married to boys who love to play games. It’s all about working things out. Give it a try.
