This November offers a chance for students and faculty from the art and graphic art departments to showcase their work in the Gallery Lounge upstairs in The Union.
The University Program Council is once again holding their annual art show from Nov. 1-4. The show will be open to all mediums of artwork.
“The art show is a way for students and faculty to get their name out there and for them to have a chance for their work to be viewed by the students and faculty here at SDSU,” said Abby Settje, UPC arts coordinator and sophomore majoring in mass communications and advertising.
There will not be any awards related to the show for it is solely a show to give the artists exposure in a gallery setting.
“Although we won’t be giving out awards or prizes for the best artwork submitted, in the past there have been artists who have actually sold some of their work as a result of being in the art show,” Settje said.
The art show will be available for viewing from 7 a.m. to midnight daily.
