Jackrabbit shares her style, gives fashion advice

Emily De Waard

Year: Sophomore

Major: English

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: I like to think of it as a classy, hipster-esque kind of style. Maybe even a city or street style sometimes.

Q: Where do you shop most often?

A: H&M, definitely. And a little bit of Forever21 now. I hadn’t been there for years, but now it kind of reminds me of another H&M. I really like Urban Outfitters, but they are really expensive. I hit up a Goodwill once in awhile.

Q: What is most important to you about picking your outfit in the morning?

A: I guess that it’s comfortable. I don’t want to be adjusting it all day. I generally try to wear something that I can wear all day so that I can look nice but also wear it to work so I don’t have to change midday.

Q: If you could switch closets with anyone who would it be and why?

A: Emma Watson. She’s got the classy London look.  She always just looks really classy.

Q: How has your style evolved?

A: Definitely grow up and more put together. I can actually coordinate an outfit now and accessorize a little bit. Sometimes I actually wear a necklace!

Fashion advice:

"Mature your outfit. Don’t wear things you wore while you were in high school. Cool it on the Uggs." -Emily De Waard, Sophomore
