"The Art of Curiosity" will feature a diverse range of artworks from SDSU student and Bachelor of Fine Arts candidate Catherine Jones. Sculptures, pictured above, are the primary body of work for this exhibition, which explores the intersection of science, art and intuition.
Lincoln Hall will be the host site of a new art exhibition that will open today today.
The exhibit, titled “The Art of Curiosity,” explores the intersection of science, art and intuition. It features a range of artworks from SDSU student and Bachelor of Fine Arts candidate Catherine Jones.
“In the course of making these works, I began to remember who I am,” Jones said. “In my youth, I was preoccupied with leaving a legacy. It never occurred to me that passions inform legacies.”
The exhibition, which will feature a public reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. will continue to be open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Dec. 18.
