The Brookings McDonald’s is supporting the local Great After School Program by donating $1 per order from every kiosk order to the program. This will start at 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10 until Friday until 11:59 p.m Friday, Sept. 14.

McDonald’s prioritizes programs that help with the local school and kids to donate to, said Steena Horseback, office administrator at the Brookings McDonalds. They hope to have 300 orders from the Kiosk per day this week.

G.A.P is a not-for-profit organization that provides after-school care for kindergarten to fifth grade and summer care for K-14. Here kids have homework help and a variety of learning and physical activities.

This week the grand reopening of the McDonald’s restaurant is happening Wednesday, Sept. 12 in honor of the remodel.
