Before the game, Head Coach Scott Nagy provided pizza for fans.

Nagy said the pizza party was a thank-you to the students for their loyalty and support throughout the season. He said students are the most important piece of the fan base.

At the pizza party, Nagy spoke to the students in attendance.

“The players and coaches appreciate the loyalty ? The players are honored about how the fans support them,” he said. Nagy also told students to “Get after the Bison.”

In addition to the pizza, hats and T-shirts were given away at the pre-game party.

The students appreciated the free pizza and prizes.

“It (free pizza) was good. It shows he appreciates what we are doing, coming out and having fun,” said senior history major Mike Blundell of Haysprings, Neb.

“It was great. It shows that Nagy cares,” said Mark Monson, a sophomore landscape architecture major from Gibbon, Minn.
