UPDATE: University officials have released more information about the reported incidents.

Two women were attacked on campus by an individual matching the description below.

According to MyStateOnline.com, the latest incident occurred in the parking lot adjacent east of Young and Caldwell Hall.

Police investigating two related incidents.

The University Police Department is investigating two related assaults on campus within the last two weeks.

In each case, a female student was accosted by an African-American male of slender build, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 in height. The suspect was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a dark bandana covering part of his face.

The more recent incident happened early Wednesday morning in a parking lot east of the Young and Caldwell residence halls. Both incidents happened after midnight.
